Jack ~ 9 years old!

Today, I did a mini-session for a young guy named Jack. He was super cooperative while we took a couple of head shots for his parents. I had to make sure to include his age in the header, because he looks like a teenager in some of the photos! I think that even his Mother will be shocked to see how handsome her son looks. Thank you Jack!

Kyla and Rhiannon ~ Finished!

Please take a look at the Smugmug link to the right (Erin Kay Photography). The session from Heritage Park in McDonough, featuring Kyla and her little sister, Rhiannon, is complete!

Sarah Claire ~ 18 months

Sweet Sarah Claire! "Sissy" was a joy to work with this morning. She had me on the move, as she is definately a little explorer. S.C. has a serious side to her, as well. She always seems to be thinking about what she will do next. I followed her around her Aunt Caroline's house this morning as we looked out windows, climbed up stairs and ran around the yard. For an 18 month old, this little girl had a tremendous vocabulary and is even putting together sentences. Anne said that this morning on the way to the shoot S.C. said to her, "Sissy loves you"! How sweet is that? Thank you for having me Carswell's and I hope you love your photos!

Danielle Nicole Presti ~ Senior Photos

Danielle, Nicole, she goes by both. Either way, she is a Senior this year! She is going to graduate class of 2009 and is so excited about her plans to attend Kennesaw State in the fall. We went to The Mill in Roswell to take her Senior photos. The place was absolutely gorgeous with beautiful rapids and a lovely covered bridge. Danielle, great job picking this location. It is a photographer's dream spot! Teresa, and I had fun watching Danielle cross over the rapids to the rock she ended up posing on. Stay tuned for those shots....I hope to have your gallery up soon!

GO Cubs!...I mean Braves? I'm Confused!

The Cubbies were in town last week, so the family got together again to enjoy the game. Dad, Tyler, Kyle, Dylan, Leslie, Ryley, Kevin and I went. The Chicago Cubs are on fire this season and they smoked the Braves. I have found myself jumping on the Cubs bandwagon once again. I got so excited a few years back when they ALMOST got to the World Series. For the sake of the entire Tedford family, I sincerely hope they go this year. "This is the year" they all say! Needless to say, the Cubs beat the Braves the entire series and so the Braves got "swept". A fun time was had by all!

Aubrey Kay ~ 15 months

My baby girl is growing up fast! She is 15 months old now....time flies! We went to the doctor yesterday for her check up and she is right on track with growth. She is 100% of height at 33 1/4 inches (just like Mommy and Daddy) and 80% for weight (24.15 lbs). She has 10 teeth, molars are still working their way through. Aubrey is a social butterfly and loves to go up and talk to random babies, she has her own language, using hand gestures and all. Yesterday in the doctor's office she gave a little boy in a stroller a "kiss-kiss". She does this with her mouth wide open and sometimes gives a little tounge action. She loves to give sweet hugs and even grunts when she does to show the squeeze. Grandpa taught her that. We are just in love with our sweet baby girl!

*The cutie pie dress Aubrey is wearing was created by Heather at The Whimsical Woods. You can order one like it at www.thewhimsicalwoods.com.

Erin Kay Photography ~ Logo

I finally got a logo! I have been working with a lady "online" to create a custom logo for Erin Kay Photography. We finally finished it and I am proud to see my name in lights. It makes the photography "thing" feel real. I love the colors and I hope the logo I chose will present a professional image to my current and future clients. Thank you to everyone who has supported me in this venture!

A Totally Tedford Weekend

This past weekend we had a huge family gathering at the lakehouse in Milledgeville. Tedford's came from all around...that sounds kinda dramatic....really, Tedfords only came from Augusta, Athens and Atlanta. Oh yeah, and Uncle Melvin came from Virginia! (He was the goofball behind the camera snapping the shots.) Let me explain further...

My immediate family consists of 6 kids (Erin, Tyler, Kyle, Dylan, Devin and Ryley). Then we have the in-laws (Kevin, Jaime and Courtney). And finally, the little booger is Aubrey. It is very hard to get us all together in one place since everyone has such busy lives and there are so many of us! We are starting a tradition to meet up during the summer and to take a family photo. This is very important since our family is growing at rapid speed. (I told everyone that next I will need to buy a wide angle lense just to fit them all in!) Courtney and Kyle are expecting their first baby in January 09 and the next in line will be Tyler and Jaime! Since I needed to be in the "family" photo, I just set up the camera (tripod) and let Uncle Melvin push away on the shutter. We were all trying to be good and look at the camera, but I think it will take the miracle of photoshop to put together a final Tedford 2008 photo. Stay tuned for that, but for now here are a couple of cute ones. PS - Our dog, Cameron, thought she needed to be a part of the family photo too. We cracked up when we realized that she was "posing for the camera"!!!

Micah - 1 Year Old!

This Saturday I took Micha's One Year Photos at Heritage Park in McDonough. He cooperated very well and we took a ton of great shots. He had the most fun playing with his big sister Alyssa! The Mosely's are our across-the-street neighbors, so I have had the pleasure of watching Micah grow over the past year. He has come a long way since his early days in the NICU, as he was born a preemie, several weeks early. Micha is on his way to walking now and will soon be running away from his big sister!
