My sweet niece Makenzi Leigh

Aubrey and I took the trek to Augusta today for a few hours. The weather was terrible and we really should not have driven in it, but I was determined to get there to take photos of my beautiful niece. She is just a doll and is only 6 weeks old! I took plenty of photos and will probably post more, but I am just so tired right now!

Moving right along...and hopefully moving IN soon!

Things are progressing along just beautifully with the house. All of our paint colors are on the walls and turned out just as I wanted!! I am trying to pick a favorite and I think I just love the Montgomery White in the living room and the Rainwashed in the Master Bedroom. Don is putting the tile in the baths and the granite guy is coming tomorrow. All lighting fixtures are starting to be put in and we just need to order our hardwood floors now! Yay! I can't even sleep at night thinking about different decorative ideas for the house. I got two great deals yesterday on Ebay for the house. I was able to get our kitchen cabinet/drawer pulls on ebay for only $1.79 per pull and they are $4.00 at Home Depot and other places I checked. I also got our kitchen faucet and saved $100.00 on the exact one I wanted. Time to start saving some money!!! Anyway, here are the updated pics of the house. I keep taking them weekly to track the progress and to be able to look back and see the difference we made in this house!

Freebie sessions all booked up!

Thank you for the response to the 11x14 special! All spots have now been taken for that special. Will Spring ever get here? :)

Bath time in the McKneely house

Thank goodness we have all of these girls! The girls just love bath night (well, most of the time). Aubrey literally strips down at the mention of the word "bath". These are the pictures and memories that I still remember from childhood...taking baths with the Cousins. We had to get our own version and they are posted here.

Daddy's Shoes

Aubrey has a fascination with her Daddy's big shoes. She tries to walk around in them and is never very successful, but she sure is cute!

Loving Outside...

Which is great because our new yard will be a wonderful place for her to play....since it is 7 acres! That is IF we ever get to move in there!!! Not much longer now.
We have been trying to go outside on any day that we will not freeze to death. At our basement apartment, we have a trampoline right outside our door that Aubrey loves to climb on. This trampoline has been around since Kevin was in 2nd grade, so it is ancient! The girls love to jump on it anyway! Macey and Megan have so many fun toys, including a Barbie Jeep that Aubrey will just sit in the passenger seat in waiting on someone to give her a joyride.

Georgia Aquarium

Today I took off work to spend some quality time with Aubrey. Mandy and I took the girls to the GA Aquarium. We had so much fun checking out all of the "shish" as Aubrey said about a million times! It was a very fun experience and it makes me so happy to live where we do...only about 25 minutes away from Atlanta!

Progress...

The paint is going on the walls! Yay! That is such a huge step. I am especially excited to see the colors that I picked out up on the walls. The cabinets are taking much longer than expected, but they will be so worth the wait! I am posting some recent pictures from the past week. They have primed all of the cabinets inside, the baths too. The cabinet doors that are hanging in the building are primed and have to be sanded and holes filled. They finished the island and the built in pantry and "fridge holder" AND they even ran the cable to my cubby above the stove, where I will put a small TV! Things are coming right along now and it shouldn't be much longer!

I also had Kevin take a picture of my and the belly in the new kitchen. I am now 19 weeks along, which is half way since Addison will be born at 38 weeks!! These next few months will be so hectic and busy, but we are looking forward to every minute!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Aubrey had a great Valentines this year. She had a huge party at her school, where they even exchanged Valentine cards! It was too cute! Here is a picture of Aubrey Kay before school that day. She hardly ever lets me get a good shot anymore, so I thought I would try to get her before we headed out. Yes that is my necklace and she did not wear it all day (I did). And, yes that is a box of Nilla Wafers in her hand at 7 am. Gotta do what you gotta do to get out the door in the morning!

What's been going on?

Things have been crazy as usual around here! We are still in the basement at the in-law's house, but it is going well overall. We have become one big happy family with joint family dinners and bathtime with all three girls.

We had a busy time last weekend! Kevin was out of town, and I had Aubrey all by myself for a few days. We had fun on Saturday at Sarah Claire's second Birthday party. She had an Elmo theme, which Aubrey LOVED! I wish I had taken more photos, but with a 1.5 year old and 18 weeks pregnant, it is so hard to do anything but keep up. Saturday night, Aubrey went to Grandpa's and spent the night. I had a girls night out with Mandy, Amanda, Robyn and Laryl. We went to the movies and saw "He's Just Not That Into You", ate at Yuki Japanese restaurant and then went to The Wishing Well to see a band play. I stayed out way too late and hung with the girls, but we had a great time! And, the best part was being able to sleep till 9:30 on Sunday!
In other news, I am working very diligently to get the official Erin Kay Photography website (http://www.erinkayphoto.com/) up and running. I have just had to fit it in when I can. I hope to have some sessions scheduled in the upcoming months with the warmer weather. I am working on my pricing now and I think I will change some things...for the better!!

Our house is coming right along and should be ready around mid March....so they say! I think that we will be so happy with the end result. Things are really coming together now and I am itching to move in!! I have been working hard to get things decorated (paint, fixtures, etc) and even picked out Addison's bedding. You can check it out at http://www.javisdavis.com/designstudio/studio.php?collection=194&g=2&bump_out=0692&bump_in=0363&bump_welt=0693&bump_tie=0693&sheet=0386&skirt=0694&trim=0693 . I am painting her room a very pale turquoise color. Aubrey's room will be a very light lime green and the bedding will be brown, lime green, pink and yellow. It is so fun to have two girls! I am still working on our room. Isn't that always how it is? You do for the kiddos first!
That is about it around here. I am going to try and be better about blogging, but time just seems to pass us by.
