Logo on Photo!

I finally had a minute to sit down and play with my logo as a watermark. I had to figure out how to apply that to my photos. Mark that off the ever growing TO DO list!!!

Under Contract ~ A sigh of relief

We got some exciting news this week....we got a contract on our Stoney Brook Way house! The house has been on the market for only TWO WEEKS and we are set to close on Dec 15. This is a bittersweet time as we will have to leave our HOME during the Holidays. But, I have to be positive and look at the big picture, which is getting into our new house on Union Church. There is no telling where we will be staying during the "in limbo" time...either my Dad's or Jeff and Mandy's, but I will keep everyone posted on the blog. In the meantime, if anyone would like to help us pack up the house, you are more than welcome to stop by anytime! Also, if you have a connection for boxes, please let me know!

Adam ~ Senior

Another session from Newnan...Adam Clay. Adam is a Senior this year and has big plans for himself! He plans to go off to college in the fall to study Horticulture and Landscaping. As a matter of fact, he helped design the park in Newnan where we did the shoot. I had a blast today and I appreciate you being so cooperative...Thank You Clay family!

Burnham Family

Today I traveled to Newnan, GA to do a photoshoot for a wonderful family! The Burnham's, Alexa, Bruce, and Preston were just a joy to work with. Alexa and I have known each other for about six years now. We met at my first job out of college and have been friends ever since. We were lucky enough to get pregnant at the EXACT same time. Our due dates were one day apart and we had our babies one day apart, as well. Crazy! Preston is now 17 months old and just loves to run and play outside. He is all boy! Pumpkin Patch...take 2!

Today we visited the local pumpkin patch in McDonough. We picked out a beautiful pumpkin and had fun playing with the cousins and some friends. We were joined by Grandpa (my Dad), Mandy, Jeff, Macey and Megan, Robyn, Al and Jake, Wesley, Laurel, and Lane and Nana and Bawbaw (Mandy's parents). The pumpkin patch is a very fun place. You can go on a hayride, go to a petting zoo and jump on inflatables. Aubrey had a blast!

Knocking Down Walls

Our "new/old" house renovation is coming right along! We had the opportunity to meet with a cabinet guy today to get ideas and quotes. We have pretty much decided to reface the original cabinets to give the place an entirely new look. I am trying to decide on the finish and it really is a hard decision because we will have it for...well...forever, I guess! Anyway, I am really excited about all of the great ideas we have come up with. We are knocking down the wall that connects the kitchen, dining and living rooms, as well as, the foyer. We will also be adding a pantry and a nook for the fridge, an island with a cook top stove and a double oven and recessed lighting throughout! Kevin has been hard at work the past few weekends and he is making a dent, literally. I had the chance to take the sledgehammer (at least I think that is what it is called) to a wall. It was a nice stress reliever! It cracks me up that we have Aubrey in a stroller in the house today and in only a few short months we will be LIVING there.

In other exciting news, we got an offer on our house today. It was really low, but I am praying that we can come to an agreement and get this puppy sold. Looks like we will be spending the holidays living with my DAD. Crazy, I know, but he assures me that he doesn't mind. Now, my brother Ryley on the other hand will not be so happy because Aubrey will be taking over their computer room. I guess that is the sacrifice that we have to make to get to our dream house. Holzeman and Regan Session ~ Finished!

Please take a look at my two most recent, completed sessions. These two were full of little boys, which is very unusual in my world. In fact, the two sessions I have booked this weekend are boys too! Crazy Hair and a Test

This is a test. I am trying to see how the color will look in these two photos. They are the same photo, edited exactly the same, just under a different color file. I have noticed a difference on my photos lately. What I see and what posts to the site are two different thing....there is a difference. Can you tell? I will be changing it to the correct color space from now on!

I have been wanting to take this photo of Aubrey for awhile now. We have had the letters and I thought it would turn out cute. I also wanted to share how crazy her hair is when I take it down from the day's do'. She will kill me one day for posting a pic of her in the tub, but I think it is so cute. She is smiling right to the camera. She just loves her bathtime!!

Callaway Gardens Harvest Fesival and the Wild Animal Safari

We had a great weekend in Callaway Gardens with the Woods family (Heather, Landon and Laura Beth). We took Aubrey to the Harvest Festival at Callaway and she had a blast! She loved exploring and checking out new things. We first went to the pumpkin patch and the vegetable garden and even experienced a toddler sized hay maze. Aubrey loved hanging out with Laura Beth. They are about the same size now and Aubrey really enjoys time with her friend.

On Sunday we went to the butterfly exhibit and the Wild Animal Safari. Aubrey was not so interested in the butterflies as she wanted to get into the small waterfall. She is obsessed with water! Finally, we visited the Wild Animal Safari. That was the coolest part of our trip. Aubrey got to stand up in the zebra striped van as we rode through a three mile stretch of animals. We fed them through the van windows and the excitement on Aubrey's face was priceless. The animals we saw were pigs, emu, cows, buffalo, giraffes, rhinoceros, camel and zebra's. They would stick their long tongue out to get the food. Aubrey wanted to pet them all! Kevin and I loved watching her reaction as each animal tried to put their face in the van.

Two cute subjects

Here are a few photos from the weekend at Callaway Gardens. I will put "snapshots" from the entire weekend up soon. Aubrey and Laura Beth had a blast playing together this weekend and I had fun taking pics of them in these cutie dresses. Everyone thought they were twins or sisters.
