McCoy Family ~ Sneak Peek

Time to unveil my new fave place to shoot....the old Mill in Rex, GA. Who knew that this old place would be a photographers dream?
The McCoy family and I met early this morning to capture a few moments of unscripted fun...along with some posed shots for Mom's mantle! The McCoy kids were a ton of fun and I found myself cracking up at middle child Garrett, as is personality is a trip! It took a minute for oldest Chandler to warm up, but we got some great smiles out of him afterall. And just look at the 'tude on youngest, Syndi. You can tell this little girl has two older bros and she can hold her own! Just check out the first photo for proof!
This family was one of the two winners of the free session I gave at the Woodland Elementary Fall Festival. Thank you for entering and I hope you guys enjoy your photographs! Here are a few peeks for now...

William Parker Ingram Arrives!

There is nothing like being born to parents who live on an ISLAND in SC, only a stones throw from the beach! Lil Parker was only 14 days old for his photo shoot on the beach. He was a little angel as we maneuvered him in several different poses for the all day shoot. Well, maybe not all day, but close...it actually ended up being two days. But, hey, that is the good thing about being friends with a photographer. You have a baby, I come stay with you for a day!
Trey and Christine, I hope you enjoy these photos of your little guy. I had so much fun hanging out with you and getting to know your son!

One year later...We have GRASS!

Before

After

Before
After

My hubby has been working so hard since we have moved in to grow grass in our front yard. The yard was once a mud pit of hard red clay (see first pic). But, low and behold one year later we have grass in our front yard (exhibit B). I am so proud of you, honey. Even if we did have to use an absurd amount of water to make this happen :)

Chad + Maria ~ Engaged

A quick pic. Will write more about this session later. It was a good one!

Regan ~ Senior

What a gorgeous day to take pictures! Regan and I met up at Heritage Park in McDonough this afternoon to take her Senior photos. This was the first time I had met Regan and I knew instantly we would click. Regan is not shy in front of the camera, as most Seniors are. She was ready to go and would go for any location, look or pose that I threw her way! Her boyfriend, Matthew, joined us at the end of the session and against his will we got some really good ones of him too!

Thank you so much for letting me take your Senior photos. I hope I didn't make Matthew too mad today!

Just pictures of Addison's first month of life

We have had many visitors this month from some wonderful family and friends. She has already gotten to spend plenty time with all of her cousins...Megan, Macey, Makenzi and Ryder and of course, her sissy, Aubery!

Addison has already gotten so much bigger. At her 1 month check up she was up to 9.5 lbs and 22.4 inches long.

"Soakin Wet"

Aubrey has us rolling these days. She has a very spunky personality that has started to shine through more and more. Recently, she has said something quite funny. The first time she said "soakin wet", we about fell on the floor because it sounds like "cigarette". We were like, why is she saying that?? But, then with context clues, we figured out that she was really saying soaking wet. Two year olds...always keep you on your toes!

Welcome Addison Kate!

So much has happened since the last time I blogged! I don't even know where to start! The most important thing to mention is the new addition to our family. We are so happy to welcome sweet Addison Kate to our family. She was born on Friday, June 26 at 7:43 am, weighing in at 7.6 lbs and 21 inches long. She is now 5 weeks old and time has been flying by. She has been a sweet baby girl from the start, only crying when she is hungry. Let's hope she keeps this up! I am working hard on trying to get her to sleep through the night. She will wake up only twice to eat, which is nice...I guess!? Mama is tired, okay! I have watched more tv than I ever have before over these past 5 weeks while nursing my sweet girl. Aubrey, big sis, has really embraced her baby sister. She is so nice to the baby and really just loves her! I am hoping that I will be blogging more now, since Addison will be a bit bigger and more easy to manage! All that being said...until I go back to work in September.
