A Crazy Sunday of Sessions ~ 3 Sneak Peeks!

It was a very successful day of marathon sessions! My day was jam packed with sessions, as people are trying to get their photos taken and edited for the Holiday Season! The day first started out with the Miller Family. We headed over to Rex Mill to get some fantastic family shots of the four Miller's. Next, was a last minute shoot with the Hunt Family. Sweet Kathrine was a trip as we explored my back yard and even had some fun playing in the crinkling fall leaves! And finally, the Pharris Family, who were winners of a drawing I held at Woodland Elementary School's Fall Festival. There are tons of great shots with all families, but I only had time to share one from each. Stay tuned for more....

One year later...We have GRASS!

Before

After

Before
After

My hubby has been working so hard since we have moved in to grow grass in our front yard. The yard was once a mud pit of hard red clay (see first pic). But, low and behold one year later we have grass in our front yard (exhibit B). I am so proud of you, honey. Even if we did have to use an absurd amount of water to make this happen :)

House Update!!!! Quinn...this is for you!

I am not sure who follows my blog. I know my clients check it out for sneak peeks, but not sure about the rest of the world. If you are out there...post a comment. I would love to know who reads!
With that being said....My cousin Quinn asked for an update on the house now that we are moved in. I took several pics tonight of the inside. We have tons of work to do, but we are definately coming along! We even got a new roof today. Sorry, no pics of that.

A few more things have been done....like toilets are being put in. Yay! It's just the little things this week that need to be completed. We took some pics today... Oh yeah, and Aubrey got a haircut today. You can check that out in the pic of her from the back where she is checking out her new bathroom!

Hardwoods are in!!

Just updating on the house. Kevin put in most of the lights this weekend, the floors were done on Friday (minus one box of the light wood that was used for the "border"), and granite was installed on Tuesday. Everything will look much better once it is cleaned up, but here are some "dirty" photos for now. If anyone has ideas on a framed mirror for my master, please share!!

It's Official!

Kevin and I closed on our new house tonight! We will be moving to "the country" in a few months. We found a great deal on a foreclosure at 3820 Union Church Road in Stockbridge. This house is located right on the Henry/Rockdale County line and only a couple of houses down from Mandy and Jeff. We are so excited to have 7 acres of land with two large "buildings, barnes, sheds, etc" (you choose the right word). The pictures above show the front drive way up to the house, the back driveway to the sheds and the back yard. I am hoping to be able to utilize this wonderful yard and at least one of the two barnes for my photography. We will have tons of work to do to make this house our home, but we are up for the adventure. I will keep you posted!
