Just playing around with some old photos...

I started playing with some new photoshop techniques tonight. Here are some of my sister's Senior pics that I took this summer. These are from my first shoot EVER. Cameron (her boyfriend), Devin and I went to Heritage Park to begin my photography career last June! It is exciting to see the progress I have made with my photoshopping.
Don't forget to stay tuned for some exciting website information in the upcoming weeks!

It's a Girl!

Kevin and I recently found out that we are having a baby girl this second time around. We are both very excited that Aubrey will have a sister! I had this first ultrasound at almost 15 weeks. They say that is early to find out the sex, but the tech said she was about 99% sure on this one (she never gives 100%). We are still tossing around names, but I am leaning towards Addison Kate. I am 17 weeks along now and I cannot wait to see her again on Monday at 10:30, during our next doc appt. I will keep everyone posted on the progress!

House Update!!!!

Same view...

I am so excited about the progress on our Union Church Rd house! You will see a much different place than you did in the http://mckneelyspace.blogspot.com/2008/10/knocking-down-walls.html post! This past week, there has been so much done and I am feeling like there is light at the end of the tunnel. My father in law, Don has been working really hard during the week and Kevin goes over on the weekend, to work away on the house. But, this week, Don had help and he and Sam have made the place look awesome! I literally am dreaming every night of what it will look like.

I have been busy on the house, as well. I have picked out all of the paint colors upstairs. We were able to get a great deal at Home Depot last week on Behr paint, so we got 19 gallons! Then, I have also been working on the decor for the kiddos rooms. My project for this week is to look for bath tile and finalize my decision on hardwoods. Busy, Busy...who could ever have time to think about being 4 months pregnant!

Makenzi Leigh Tedford

A new niece was born!! I had the pleasure of taking a trip to Augusta on Sunday afternoon to be there for my niece's birth. My whole immediate family waited patiently at the hospital for Makenzi to make her grand debut. We were blessed with this little angel on Sunday night, at 8:31 pm. She weighed in at 7.1 lbs and was 20 inches long. We were all so excited for the new parents, Kyle and Courtney. I cannot wait to see my brother become a wonderful father to his baby girl. He was already doing such a great job taking care of his wife and baby at the hospital. I am very proud of you both! Here are some photos of my beautiful niece.

Gymboree Date

Heather and I took the girls to Gymboree today. We always have such a fun time hanging out together. Aubrey and Laura Beth have a great time too. They are starting to talk to each other and I am almost sure they are taking right after us! Here are some fun photos we took of the girls. It is hard to get a shot of them together, as they are always running and playing seperately. I also took some shots of LB for her Birthday invite, since she will be having the party at Gymboree!

Peace

I thought this was a cutie pic of my neice to share. I have taken a break from photography and photoshopping these past few weeks. It was a much needed "vacation", but I am ready to get up and running for 2009. The peace and quiet is over!

Love the lense

I finally got a new lens that I have been salivating over for a few months now...the Canon 50mm 1.4. It is awesome for indoor shooting and low light situations. This photo of Aubrey was taken in our basement apartment with out flash and practically no light coming in the windows....and it is SOOC (straight out of the camera). I can't wait to start using this lens on my upcoming shoots. Speaking of upcoming shoots, if anyone is interested, I am booking now for 09!

I also have a fun surprise rolling out *fingers crossed* by the end of the month. That is my goal anyway....stay tuned for details!

Potty Time

So I have decided that living with your in-laws is not so bad after all! My 19 month old baby girl, who surprises me on a daily basis, has decided to start using the potty. After checking out her big cousins doing the deed more than once, she thought she should try this out for herself. We let her go on the big potty a few times and she actually "went". It was so exciting to see my baby girl do something so BIG! Kevin and I were thrilled. Aunt Mandy helped by breaking out the little potty and Aubrey has been obsessed ever since. Her favorite part of the process is pulling the paper off of the roll and then putting it in the big potty to flush. She waves and says "bye, bye tee-tee" and "bye, bye stinky" (pronounced tin-ty) as it goes down. I think it is pretty cool, as I was not going to start this adventure until she was at least two. But, we are hoping this will last so we will not have TWO in diapers :)
PS- Don't mind the bed head. This child has crazy hair when she wakes up!

Baby McKneely #2 ~ 14 weeks

I am finally posting about Baby McKneely #2! I am 14 weeks along and we are thrilled to be parents for a second time. I am posting this photo hoping that not many people look at this thing. :) It is just amazing how fast you "show" with your second. I just told my work on Monday, but thank goodness, because they would have definately figured it out by now! I have a doctors visit tomorrow at 9 am. I will keep the status updated on here for everyone to view!

Happy New Year!

What an exciting and adventerous year this shall prove to be! Kevin and I have so many changes on the horizon. With the move from Stoney Brook to the basement apartment, the new house renovations, the new baby and Aubrey turning 2, we have so much to look forward to. We are really hoping to be in the house before baby #2 is born. We have about 6 months and counting to make that happen. We have a long way to go, but I am sure we can pull together and make it work. I am 13 weeks pregnant today, so the baby will be here before we know it. I cannot belive how fast a second pregnancy flies!

We had a low key New Years celebration last night. We had a nice dinner of steak and shrimp with some friends at Jeff & Mandy's. It was nice to not drive home for once...I could just walk downstairs. And, as an added bonus, Aubrey was in her own bed! Aubrey had a blast eating junk food and the veggie tray. She apparently loves Doritos like her Daddy! Here are some pics from our low key dinner and Wii New Years!
